I'm trying to keep an open mind as I usually do. I'm the kind of person who has to have an experience before I can make up my mind. For example, I didn't really know where I sat on the death penalty issue until I went to death row and talked to someone who was going to die the next day. After that, I did a lot of research on it and realized that our courts aren't particularly fair in how they dole it out, plus I don't think it really deters anyone.
